Sandy L. Tosh Obituary (1957

Sandra Lee Tosh Feb 19, 1957 – May 15, 2025 Placerville resident, Sandra Lee Tosh, 68, died Thursday, May 15 in Placerville, CA. A Celebration of Life Service is planned later. Sandra was born February 19, 1957 in Pierre, South Dakota, to Jack and Isabella Tosh. The family resided in several places including Wyoming, Minnesota, Scotland and New Zealand before moving to the Placerville area in 1970. Sandra attended El Dorado High School and graduated in 1975. While a student at El Dorado, she made the cheerleading squad that she loved. She later attended Mesa College and The University of California, San Diego. Upon moving back to Placerville, she worked at Marshall Hospital from 1980 until her retirement in 2023. Her last position was an IT Project Manager. In her free time, Sandra enjoyed going to the movies, crocheting and spending time with family and friends. She was fascinated by Scottish history and culture, and she always looked forward to traveling to Scotland to visit family and friends. Sandra is survived by her sister, Kirsty; brother, Ian; nephew, Calvin; niece, Mallory; her two great nieces, Monroe and Bowie; cousin, Karen, and all her many cousins and two aunts in Scotland. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to a charity of choice in her name.
