Sharon Louise Cameron

Sharon Cameron was a lover of all animals. Whether riding the trails of the Sierra foothills or breeding prize winning German Shepherds, her love for animals always shown through. Sharon and her German Shepherd, Elsa, were regulars every week at Shriner's Hospital in the therapy dog program. Sharon left us on September 4. She was pre-deceased by her husband Dave . We know she and Dave are reunited again along with her critters. Sharon will be missed by her many friends in the dog and horse world as well as her friends in Placerville. This photo is one of our favorite of Sharon. After her beloved German Shepherd, Elsa died from old age, she'd visit a friend's office and cuddle on the couch with her cow dogs. She called it "getting her dog fix". Sharon has asked that there be no service but that everyone who is so inclined make a donation to the animal rescue of their choice in her name. To the end, her love of animals shown through.
